Urbana Public Library is proud to participate in the Iowa Adventure Pass program!
Iowa Adventure Pass gives library cardholders free access to exciting destinations across Iowa, helping families explore museums, science centers, zoos, and cultural attractions without the cost becoming a barrier. Adventure Passes transform your library card into a ticket for hands-on learning, discovery, and real-world experiences beyond the library walls. Currently, Urbana Public Library offers passes to the Science Center of Iowa, with additional attraction passes being added soon.
This program is available to Urbana residents and rural “Old Urbana District” patrons with a valid Urbana Public Library card in good standing. All you need is your library card and a sense of adventure!
To reserve a pass, Urbana Public Library cardholders can visit Iowa Adventure Pass and select “Find a Pass” on the homepage. Choose Urbana Public Library from the library menu to view available passes and reservation dates. After selecting a destination, enter your library card number and PIN to complete the reservation. Passes may be reserved up to 60 days in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note:
• Passes are available to adults ages 18 and older and may be reserved once per year, per venue.
• Patrons must present their pass confirmation — either as a printed copy, an email on their device, or through a digital wallet — along with a photo ID matching the name on the reservation.
• Passes may not be used for admission to special events.
